Horror - these fics contain things intended to disturb the reader, though success is not guaranteed.

This, as some other subject tags, was a fairly dicey definition. A lot of my fics, not all of which are listed below, may be disturbing to various people, including myself. But there's a difference between wandering about writing down random stuff about characters (which I do not tag as horror) and deliberately attempting to construct a horrifying story or situation (which I do). Ultimately it's a tag of authorial intent more than anything else; of these, I know "Arcana Viscera" and the DMVs succeeded as horror stories for a number of readers, but the others are dubious.

Note that the horror tag does not always coincide with the violence tag. Utena is a prime example of this, with a canon driven largely by psychosexual torture and horror.
